AYLI - FAVOURITE FLOWER

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well.

We've had a wet few days lately, I just hope it picks up a bit for those going away on their Easter hols.

It's the start of a new challenge over at As You Like It and the theme for this fortnight is to showcase a project with your favourite flower (and don't forget to tell us why please).

I love all flowers, but this time I have chosen tulips.  I really love to see them in the garden, it means warmer weather is on the way and they come in so many beautiful colours, but their season isn't a very long one, that may be one reason they are a favourite.

For my card I've used an image from Little Claire Designs, I think he's so cute.  I've coloured him with copics and added some fun flock to his tail.  The papers are old LOTV and I've used kraft for the  mini scalloped borders. I've used a sizzle oval die and the stitch banner is from Creative Expressions.

I hope you like him and if you'd like to pop over to the challenge here you'll be able to see the inspiration from the rest of the team.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

Di's Digidesigns - Spring Flowers
Daisy Chain - Spring
Noor Design - Spring
Southern Girls - Die Cuts
Dream Valley - Spring Colours
Deep Ocean - Easter/Spring

Thank you for visiting and if you can leave a comment I do love to read them.

I'll be back at the weekend. Have a good Easter,

Lynne x

  5. What a pretty card Lynne and the image is adorable. I have no sign of my tulips this year, the heavy snow must have stopped them in their tracks !! xx

  6. Really pretty card Lynne....the colours look delightful.

Many years ago I went on a school trip to Holland even as a little girl I was blown away by the beauty of the bulbfields.
